Are you playing on PC? If you are, I had a similar problem with MW2. "Out of memory" means that there's no more video memory available. My texture settings were set to extra, and setting this to "Automatic" fixed this for me.
I don't think I'm going to buy MW3, I still enjoy MW2 and I bought BF3 so I don't need a game which is basically the same. I don't think my friends will buy it either, and I don't see a point in playing MW3 by myself while they all still play MW2 :p.

Problem would make sense on a PC yeah, but the weird thing is that I'm actually playing it on PS3.

It's cool and all but... yeah, same thing every year, with some new weapon models, new maps and a new number on it. I just don't like the fact fanboys buy this game just because it's CoD, and then go all 'HAHAH BF3 IS SHIT MW3 IS GONNA RAPE IT'. D:

So far I only dislike the maps. They're too close-quarter.
The game can surely get frustrated though. Playing alone equals getting frustrated. Playing with two equals making others frustrated.

Game should be in the post by Wednesday, hopefully Amazon will hurry up a little. 45 euros is pretty cheap though compared to the 65 you have to pay elsewhere.
