I hate most of that music too, but as Maddo stated most of RnB an POP music are a lot more emo than that.

A lot of the songs are, as Maddo said, moaning about something to do with love and that they don't have it. There are exceptions and some nice music but a lot of the time it's annoying and that's always what makes the charts. It's like they got nothing else to inspire them. (That's directed at RnB and pop of course, not hiphop).
