2012 - A wonderful number, isn't it?
There are basically two kinds of 2012 believers from what I've read and watched: the one side believes it will be doomsday and the other believes it will be a cosmic awakening that increases conciousness and a pushes humanity into the next dimension or something like that.
So my conclusion for now is that this topic is rather entertaining at some point than to be taken serious as we are facing issues with real priority such as war, poverty etc.pp. I've also yet to see some significant proof for the so called cosmic event taking place in 2012. Earthquakes happen every year. Feel free to provide us with some reliable proof, though, Cave. If this did take place the governments would do something about it by now. Or does it? Why build buildings and cities for millions if not billions of dollars if they will be vanished in 2 years anyway instead of rebuilding Noah's Arc?
I think the best arguement you could come up with is that they want to prevent mass panic, which would cause the collapse of economy, stability and security on Earth. Alright, sounds logic at first but why worry about it if exactly that will happen anyway in case it's true.
But I agree on one point, the news are getting worse and more frightening since 2001.
We've got pretty good bunkers here in Augsburg anyway, so see you in 2013! Although I wonder how these will be save from earthquakes...
