I'm not gonna lie, I'll laugh at Family Guy, Stewie in particular, and Quagmire is just FTW. But...it's no SouthPark.
I don't think they themselves know what the story plots are. They just copy other people all the time and people think that's funny? The episode where they go into the casino with Native Americans and the Native Americans try screwing with them, that's from SouthPark. And that's just one of many examples.

Ever since SouthPark came out, I've loved it soooo much and there are sooo many things I love soooo much about it, and then there are some things that stand out (Jakovosaurs, Timmy, Skeeter, Mr. Macky, and others), but this just tops them all.

If anyone watches the "Cartoon Wars" episodes of South Park, therein lies the reason I dislike Family Guy. Honestly their jokes are like playing bingo, but instead of numbers there's two nouns and a verb and it tends not to have anything to do with the plot.
I probably spent more time on that joke than the Family Guy writing staff spend on theirs. Family Guy is a gag show, South Park is a show with jokes, that's the difference.
