This can be fixed easily, but the main point is, Spending: Liked the house furniture and character idea. Want to add more: give players fireworks to explode for fun with a cash price, let people modify their vehicle with chosen suitable objects, let people to farm (with objetcs: trees, grasses, herbs maybe?) etc. I'll post here when something else comes to my mind. In my opinion, all new players (with no plus points), should be able to use ATMs. Firstly, they don't really know/understand how banking in 24/7 shops for the first 10 hours of gameplay works. Secondly, they always get killed by the DM'ers when they try to take their money to the 24/7 shops. This makes them lose their money and quit. In 2.94, the locations of all ATMs are marked with green $ symbols, so I think it should be pretty easy for such players to utilize ATMs. Regarding the bank limit, I don't think it's a good idea to offer increments via achievements. Many players don't even know the kind of achievements that can be completed and there's no guarantee that they'll be able to complete them. There's no reason to limit their bank accounts due to this. In 2.94, the bank limit system is also bugged, which I've reported various times. When players receive 1 plus point and upgrade to a professional account, they directly get a limit of $750 milion. This should be fixed and changed back to the old system where they receive a +$20 million limit for each plus point, until 200 hours. After that, they can pay and upgrade their limit gradually. The economy doesn't really need changes, to be honest. We do have 450+ properties but most of them cost between 100k ~ 400k which doesn't help the regulars at all. Personally, I only have a list of 20 properties to buy when I want to earn money. Small properties that pay out 10k ~ 20k a minute are worthless. They only help new players. If you want more amount of money to be used, just make houses and their features a bit expensive. Weapon prices have already gone up quite a lot. Making money isn't all that easy for new players. The exports' reward has also been decreased quite a lot. Players used to get money for exports depending on the type of vehicle, from where it is, etc. Now, each export only fetches a stand $91200. Minigames hardly give any money. Upgrading the bank limit from $400 million to $2 billion already drains the bank accounts of players, since they have to pay double the money with respect to the increased limit. I don't think much improvements can be made to properties. Most of the properties are just missing flags since 2.94, which made some of them special. For example, the Area 69 tower enabling the owner to teleport for free and earn money for each teleport, Ammu-nation refilling the owners' armor and Fort carson medical center refilling the owners' health. If they get added again, it should be sufficient. Also, +1 to Drug's idea about betting on duels. This would make things really interesting. Special weapons for owning military base northeast of LV ... Access to the military vehicles if the prop at Area 69 is owned i think there was a feature for owning Seti's prop aswell!? Re: Earning money and spending it. - striker - 04-08-2012 I won't agree with moving atm's for newbs, the game should be a little competitive and not making things all easy.Should think on other features to put if you're planning to remove it from pro-account to basic-account. For example, if remove atm to basic, add a nice feature to pro-account. If remove free banking and withdrawing from everywhere of platinium-account, should add other features otherwise I won't worry much with the upgrading. About the banking problem that newbs getting killed, I think it could change by this idea I have in mind.A newb started to play today, this player get /bank and /withdraw and /balance command which can be used on the road every where. When this player reach 1pluspoint which is 10hours of gameplay, he/she needs to upgrade his/her bank-account in order to use ATM's, and the commands will be disable by then and get it back untill you get platinium-account. And properties will also be showed on the map for them untill they reach 1pluspoint, after that the properties won't be visiable for them but have to explore the map to find new properties. The player should get atleast 500k or 1millĀ when joining the server for the first time which could also help to buy one property atleast.And could also atleast put 1mill in their personal bank account. If the player is not registered I think it would be good to disable /bank and /withdraw also /balance and put some auto textmessage that when the player tries to use the commands it will say that you must be registered first in order to use these commands, this could also help better and force the players to register.This is deffinetly a problem I see everyday that players having props but not registered. If they were given the ability to bank from anywhere until they upgraded their accounts, why would they even upgrade their accounts in the first place? Other than that, they would probably hate the fact that things became tougher after playing for 10 hours (by forcing them to use ATMs). Showing all properties would make things quite messy for them. Properties that cost 100k or something are already made visible to all new players. They can't really afford expensive properties, so why show all of them? |
