Minigames & kill/death count - Future - 05-04-2010

Probably I am the single player capable to discover this minor bug because I am enough obsessed to check my kill / death count and ratio every 3 minutes. I am quite skilled in Minigun Madness, last period I wasted much time with it, thinking that I can raise my kill count with it, but NO WAY.

What I noticed in all deathmatch minigames:
I kill someone in 3rd place then I die in 2nd place = got +1 kill, +1 death
I kill 10 people in row in a single minigame then I win or I die = got only +1 kill
I die in 3rd place = wanted level remains
I die in 2nd place = wanted level is lost
Is this behavior normal??

In my opinion the total count of kills of all players should be equal with total count of deaths (in absence of suicides), but this weird minigames behavior prevents it.

imo the minigame kills + deaths shouldnt be counted into the normal player K/D-R system, they should get a seperate one like the FC fights.

Or maybe have a "normal" kill/death ratio plus a seperate minigame kill/death ratio, that would be pretty cool

The global statistics counts ALL kills and deaths, including the ones in FightClub, in minigames, in interiors, on the ship, etc.
There is one count of FightClub kills/deaths, I agree with it.
I see useless a kill/death count for minigames, since some minigames could cause suicides but never causes kills of deaths, for example in races, if the player not leaves vehicle before it explodes.
I made new tests today, killing someone 5 times in a row in FightClub, I noticed that FightClub kills are counted in real number in global kill/deaths statistics, BUT... I didn't get any wanted level for them. Is this correct?

One more thing: counting SUICIDES
I noticed that for a week most suicides not appeared anymore in kill board and were not counted in death chount. I have no idea how this was possible to be changed. But when I noticed that suicides are not counted anymore I was happy, I even carbombed Bubbles several times.
I think that not counting suicides will solve some problems, including some death avoiding. Players who keeps attention to their kill/death ratio will have no more reasons to /tune or /world when their cars are shoot.

Disagree there, it will increase the number of players that evade getting killed with /kill.

But there's already a lot of players who suicides, suddently. I try to shoot them, they die and in kill list appears a suicide rather than a kill. Did they /kill or is a bug? Sometimes I have to drive-by a car until it burns, this causes suicide and don't give me the kill.

Hmm, you may be right... they could start habits to suicide every time when are near to death. Suicides not counted happened too short period to spread this kind of habits. Now is useful to suicide only if you want to preserve wanted level in case if you're anyway condamned to death. I undestand, is better to count suicides, if is not possible to count only the intentonally-made ones.

I think Fireburn fixed that already.

By the way, I'll just throw it in here because I noticed the reply involving suicide, but..
Wouldn't it be better to disable /kill when being in a chase?
Then you won't have those annoying turdios anymore /killing theirselves to escape.

All commands were already disabled in terrorist chases, and what you mean about that I can't /kill? Last time when I was terrorist I was chased 3 times and finally escaped, due of lame bike drive-byers which keeps damaging my car until it explodes, which is a suicide and not a kill.
Anyway I didn't talked about chases, but as general...
