What are some good FPS games?

Hey, everyone, I was just curious on what is a good FPS game.
I've tried to play CS, but the copy I had didn't work so I just kept going on to find other fps.
Any ideas or games?

Call of Duty is a well good game, also try Halo definatley the Battlefield series

But when it comes down to it . . . SA-MP FTW

I played War Rock a few days ago, and It is really fun.
