This thread also includes questions about upgrading your rig.

One main rule is do NOT post unless you you know what you are talking about!

This isn't to do with GTA, nor LVP, this is why i put it in here, so no one say it's spam or a pointless topic.

I recently installed Vista Home Premium onto my computer.
It seems to be fine, apart from when i try to play games.
I could play these games on XP, before i Installed vista.
I have all the system requires and what not, and the game is just not playing.
The Game i'm trying to play is Medal Of Honor Allied Assault: Breakthrough.
Could it be that the game is not supported by windows vista?

Have you checked the publisher's website and google'd for forum posts relating to your problem?

Try rightclicking, and going into the properties (on the game exe).

You can run it under a special XP mode (compatibility mode?). Apparently that works.

Windows Vista needs very fast/new hardware. You can't run Vista without a good processor. What processor do you got then? If you want to play games at the moment, then it's better to use Windows XP.

You could also try to update your video drivers if you still wan't to try gaming on Vista. ;)

Yeah, i do think that i need a faster processor.
I have all the latest drivers for my video card and what not.

So yeah, i'll buy a new processor and see if that's the problem.
