Could the site get a shoutbox? I know we got IRC, but it'll be useless to go on IRC just to say one useless thing. Also sometimes people can't get on IRC.
Plus, IRC is pretty deserted these days, but the forums are still pretty active. Maybe even a chatbox lobby for those with IRC problems, or for small uses. Waiting for a reply in an IRC help topic, only to find the reply hasn't done much good can be really annoying I think (I don't know from experience, but am sure people like shoru would've found it annoying). Same for waiting for a PM from one particular person tryna help.
